About this Series
lluminations are a series of lectures and discussions preceding each Bach Vespers and Abendmusik Concert event. They are intended to shed light on general aspects of Bach’s music as well as to serve as a listening guide for the works being performed that day. Yvonne Kendall and Mark Mummert are joined by guest speakers and panelists to talk about the inner workings of Bach’s music and his theology, introduce the performers, and give the inside story on the performances.
Ticket Information
Admission is free. The series is held in the Parish Hall of Christ the King Lutheran Church. You may reserve a seat for the Concert following the event by visiting the hospitality table in the narthex before the start of the presentation.
