Organ Recitals
In his own lifetime, Bach had an almost legendary reputation as an organ recitalist and consultant to instrument builders. His ground-breaking compositions for organ were rooted in the North German tradition but assimilated exciting new influences from Italy and France.
The Bach Society’s Organ Recitals feature a distinguished roster of international guest organists playing the magnificent Bach Organ at Christ the King Lutheran Church, built by Fritz Noack in 1995 in the 18th century Saxon style similar to those that Bach knew and played.
